Animal Control is a division of the Little Elm Police Department.  During regular business hours, call 214-975-0460 for matters related to this service.

If you have an animal control issue during non-business hours and holidays, call the Denton County Sheriff’s Office at (940) 349-1600 or (972) 434-5500.  

During non-business hours and holidays, Animal Control Officers will respond to emergencies and animal bites only.

Animals picked up by Little Elm Animal Control are housed at the Animal Shelter, on 1104 W. Eldorado Parkway.  Contact them to visit and view adoptable pets.

Deceased animals on the roadway can be reported by calling the number listed above.

Live animal traps are available from Animal Control. There is not a cost to use a trap; however there is a $60 refundable deposit. Please call to check availability.
