The Town of Little Elm requires a Construction Permit for any work being done in the right of way or easements within the Town limits. There are two options to file your Construction Permit:
- Download the PDF file of the Construction Permit or come in to the Public Works & Engineering department located on the second floor of Town Hall for a paper copy.
- You can also email your completed and signed application form and construction plans in PDF form directly to the Construction Manager for review.
Once you have filled out the permit application and submitted it with three copies of the construction plans as described in the permit application the permit will be processed within 10 working days. When the permit has been reviewed by the Construction Manager you will be notified that it is ready to be picked up at Town Hall. Any work within the ROW must have water and sewer locates prior to the construction beginning. To have the water and sewer lines located please call (214) 975-0471 at least 48 hours before you plan on starting construction.
