Adult Flag Football League
Leagues are sanctioned by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation. TAAF offers local teams the ability to advance to post season play which includes regional and state tournaments. Teams play eight games with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. Players must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

All-Star Junior Tennis Summer Camp
Summer Camp Sessions 2010
When: June 7 to August 20
Weekly sessions run Monday - Friday
Where: Little Elm High School, 1900 Walker Lane Map
Times and Prices:
One Star Program: 8:45 AM - 9:45 PM
$50/week or $15/day
Two Star Program: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
$100/week or $25/day
Three Star Program: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
$200/week or $50/day
Play and Learn: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM, offered to the 2 and 3 star students
looking to learn how to play matches and keep score.
$40/week or $10/day
Star Level Descriptions:
One Star - ages 4-6 "FUN"damentals; basic strokes, motor and listening skills.
Two Star - ages 7-11, Stroke development with the focus on movement and footwork.
Three Star - ages 12-18, Continue the mastery of rules and strokes with focus on shot placement and spins.

2nd Annual Open Water Swim with a Purpose
The Caw-Coo Parrot Head Club is planning the 2nd Annual Little Elm Open Water Swim with a Purpose, with the support of the Town of Little Elm. The event is being held on September 11 at Little Elm Park swim beach. This year the Parrot Heads are teaming up with Swim Frisco. There will be a 1K & 3K open water sanctioned and recreational swim. Money is being raised for Keep Little Elm Beautiful, to build a statue in the circle at Town Hall. We are in need of local bands that will play Jimmy Buffet and/or Island Music, at no cost during the event and after the event. We are also looking for swimmers and volunteers to help with this event.

What to bring
- A one piece bathing suit for females and form fitting swim trunks for males,
- Swim goggles,
- Swim Cap,
- Towel,
- Flip flops to walk to water's edge, and
- Wetsuit, if available
What to expect
These are opportunities to get in supported open water swim workouts. Each coached workout will include: kayak support, access to PFDs, a buoy placed to mark the course and hydration.
Cost
The series cost is $125 unless you are a Team Tri-Now member or participant in a Tri-Now Endurance program. If you have not paid online, please have a check made payable to Tri-Now Endurance or exact change. You will not have to pay a fee to enter the marina. Arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork.
Please park in the parking lot adjacent to the marina, at Cottonwood Sports Complex. All marina parking is reserved for marina tenants. After parking you will walk through the main marina gate and we will be immediately to your left.

Kenpo Karate
Classes are being offered at the Little Elm Community Center on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings of each month. Registration is required, so please do not show up for a class unless you have registered through Universal Martial Arts Academy and Training Center directly.
Classes are as follows:
Little Dragons (ages 2-5) 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Kid Kicks Super Stars (ages 6-12) 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Teens/Adults (13 and up) 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Kenpo is a form of self-defense. All the moves and techniques are defensive, used to protect oneself from an attack. Kenpo simply put is "pure intelligence of thought and motion". Instructor/Director/Founder, Dr. Alvin "Sifu" Mack Jr., PhD/Ma.Sc./Ma.Ph. is a 5th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, as well as many other accomplishments. Sifu Mack is dedicated to educating the student in the theory of Kenpo.

Tennis Lessons
The Parks and Recreation Department offers tennis lessons for both youth and adult. We are excited to offer you tennis lessons in a structured, organized, yet fun environment. Instructions are provided by Josh Harris and will be held at Little Elm High School tennis courts, located at 1900 Walker Lane. Map
Lesson Rates
Private: $50 per hour (1 person)
Semi-Private: $60 per hour (2 people)
Group: $70 per hour (3-6 people)

Josh Harris Bio
Beginning as early as eleven, to play USTA Junior Tennis, Josh held a super championship ranking throughout. Josh takes great pride in knowing that he took part in the implementation of the tennis program for Little Elm High School back in 1993, and is still a resident as of today. Josh represented the Lobos in the UIL state tournament all four years of high school. He then played collegiate tennis for Collin County Community College where Josh helped the Express to a National Runner-Up title in Juco NAIA Division I both years while achieving All American status. He joined the Gleneagles tennis staff in 1998 and became Director of the Men's Program in 2003. Josh is P1 USPTA certified pro.
Horseshoe Pitching Club
The Little Elm Horseshoe Pitching Club is seeking residents that would be interested in joining their club and participating in organized horseshoe pitching with weekly leagues and tournament play.
Join the 2010 NHPA/THPA Sanctioned Horseshoe Pitching Tournament on September 11.
