Missing elderly person reported in Little Elm area

An elderly white male has been reported missing from his home in the Frisco Lakes community, a Del Webb retirement enclave on the boundary between Frisco and Little Elm.

Joe Harris is described as five feet, six inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He is nearly 96 years of age and it is believed he suffers from a form of dementia. He left his home in the 1400 block of Crystal Lake Dr. today, and appeared on the security camera of the Walmart on FM 423.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants, brown shoes, a tan-colored long sleeve shirt and jacket, and a tan-colored hat. He was carrying an umbrella and wears a gold wedding band.

Anyone with information on this individual should call 9-1-1 and report his whereabouts.
