Citizen's Fire Academy

Overview

Get an insider’s view of the Little Elm Fire Department by enrolling in the Citizens Fire Academy.

The Citizens Fire Academy is a unique educational program designed to provide citizens with an in-depth look at the inner workings of their fire department. The free ten-week program teaches citizens fire safety for the home and work place, plus hands-on experience in emergency operations. You'll have the opportunity to “ride out” on emergency calls with firefighters!

Throughout the ten-week program, students will be given the opportunity to observe and learn about the responsibilities and duties of the firefighters and fire rescue administrators.

Join us in our next class and learn more about Little Elm Fire Department services while increasing your fire and safety awareness!
