Craft Fair Work Days

We could use a helping hand whether you are crafty or not.  We need some help organizing, sorting, and finishing a few projects that we would like to complete for the Craft Fair in October.  Hope to see you there!

Matter of Balance Workshop (8-week program)


Wednesdays, September 13 - November 1, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Presented by Texas Area on Aging

Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities.  This award-winning program is designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.  Note that the class size is limited and you will only get full benefit form the class if you are willing to commit to the full 8-week program.  RSVP at the front desk to get signed up for this program.

AARP Smart Driver Class


Friday, September 15, noon - 4:00 pm
Registration begins at 11:45 am

This course is a 4-hour class and is designed for individuals 50 & over.  A certificate is awarded upon completion that may reduce your auto insurance rates for 3 years.  Check with your auto insurance company on their policy.  Not for ticket dismissal.  It is not necessary to be a member of AARP to participate and there are no exams.  $15 AARP members; $20 non-members of AARP.  RSVP for this class at the front desk, or call (972) 731-1464.

Beach Party 2017


September 19, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
(rain date September 21)
Meet us down at the beach in Little Elm Park for a beach party.  Join us for activities like Bean Bag Toss, Squirt Gun Competitions, Balloon Toss, Picture Booth, Pass the Water and Beach Volleyball (senior style). A catered beach lunch will be served at 11:30 am.  There will be plenty of shade and refreshments.  Remember your sunscreen and maybe a chair, as there aren't enough seats for everyone.  If you plan on going into the sand, you might want to wear beach shoes.  RSVP by Thursday, September 14.

Craft Fair


Saturday, October 7, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Join us for our 7th Annual Craft Fair at the Little Elm Senior Center.  There will be a variety of handmade crafts by local crafters.  Get a jump start on your Christmas shopping and give a unique gift.  Bring your family and friends!
