United Healthcare is bringing in a Karaoke machine to help us tap in to our inner American Idol. If you love to sing on stage, in the choir, or even in the shower, come show us what you've got. If you don't want to sing, no problem, just come in and cheer on the brave crooners.

The Senior Center members have been invited to enjoy Zumba Gold at the Recreation Center in May, to celebrate the Mayor's Fitness Challenge (MFC). Even if you aren't a part of the MFC you are welcome to join the class and shimmy, shake, and sweat.

Cards will be sold for $1 each from 10:30 am - 11:00 am. The game will begin at 11:00 am and no cards will be sold after the game begins. All proceeds from the sale of the cards will be used for the prizes. Cash prizes, so don't miss out on the fun! Seniors' guests are welcome for this event.
Art Class: Different Art Mediums to Create Practical Art

AARP Smart Driver Class
Friday, May 11, 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Registration begins at 12:15 pm
This course is a one 4-hour class and is designed for individuals 50 and over. A certificate is awarded upon completion that may reduce your auto insurance rates for 3 years. Check with your auto insurance company on their policy. Not for ticket dismissal. It is not necessary to be a member of AARP to participate and there are no exams. $15 for AARP members; $10 for non-members. RSVP at the front desk.
National Senior Health & Fitness Day
We have added a fun new calendar to the Bulletin Board showing some of the crazy National Days celebrated. Each month we will be choosing one of these days to celebrate. We have chosen National Senior Health & Fitness Day in May. Every senior that participates in a fitness class on Tuesday, May 29 or Wednesday, May 30, will be given an opportunity to enter a raffle for some fun prizes. Check out the board to see what other fun days are in the month.
